Mardi Gras Casino Donates $25,000 To The Arc
Cathy Reside, chief operating executive at Mardi Gras Casino, presented the American Red Cross with a check for $25,000 at an intimate breakfast gathering on January 21st. Mark Holmes, Board Chairman, and Alicia Laszewski, Broward County Chapter Executive & Regional Marketing Officer American Red Cross South Florida Region, were on hand to accept the donation. A second check for $1,064.71, collected and donated by the employees of Mardi Gras Casino, was also given to the organization. The donations will specifically benefit the International Response Fund, which will provide immediate relief and long-term support through supplies, technical assistance and other support to help those in need.
