Mark Strickland And Camp Hoop Heroes Kids
Former HEAT player, Mark Strickland (pictured) inspired kids in the After School All Stars Summer Camp called Camp Hoop Heroes. The kids got to shoot hoops on the HEAT’s private practice court at the AAA and eat dinner in the private Player’s Lounge. Covanta Energy contributed $20,000 to the program that serves middle school kids from Title 1 schools.
