Padrón and MDC Foundation Chair Julie Grimes for the annual Alumni Hall of Fame Gala, honoring Miami Dade College’s best, brightest and most successful alumni with a celebration of the newly inducted Alumni Hall of Fame class. The Hall of Fame Award is the highest honor bestowed by the College on its alumni. This exceptional group of individuals is chosen from a broad range of industries. Honorees are among the nation’s premier impresarios, public servants, artists and community leaders. Hall of Fame inductees are recognized for the positive impact on their profession, the community and the College.
The Hall of Fame Awards Gala not only honors the outstanding recipients but also serves as a fundraiser for student scholarships. It’s the most important fundraising event each year. All net proceeds fund the Alumni Hall of Fame Scholarship, which provides student scholarships now and in the future.
