The Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce shimmered, sparkled, and celebrated in unforgettable fashion at its 100th Anniversary Gala — a dazzling centennial evening honoring a century of business, community, and leadership in Miami Beach. Presented by City National Bank and Encore, the black-tie celebration brought together distinguished community leaders, elected officials, Chamber members, and supporters for a night that truly reflected the brilliance of the organization’s 100+ years of legacy.

Guests were welcomed into an immersive “walking down memory lane” experience during cocktail hour, where each decade of Miami Beach history was brought to life through iconic restaurants and culinary experiences representative of the era. From nostalgic favorites to modern Miami Beach staples, the experience paid homage to the city’s vibrant hospitality scene and the businesses that helped shape Miami Beach throughout the decades.

Following cocktail hour, guests were officially welcomed into the ballroom with a celebratory ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring a Jackie Gleason character tribute — a nod to Miami Beach’s legendary entertainment history. The evening’s energy continued with spectacular entertainment including stilt walkers, aerialists, live performers, and a show-stopping laser light production that transformed the ballroom into a dazzling centennial celebration experience.

The Chamber was deeply honored to receive proclamations and recognition from Florida Lt. Governor Jay Collins, Miami-Dade County, and the City of Miami Beach, commemorating the organization’s impact and service to the community.

The evening also served a greater purpose, benefiting the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce Education Foundation, which supports Miami Beach feeder pattern public schools and educational initiatives throughout the community. Thanks to the generosity of attendees, sponsors, and donors, the event raised meaningful contributions that will help create lasting opportunities for local students and future leaders.

A highlight of the evening was the recognition of outstanding honorees whose dedication and leadership continue to shape Miami Beach and beyond. Honorees included V&E Hospitality, Dr. Martin Karp, Louise Aguirre, David Martin, and the recipients of the prestigious “Member of the Decade” recognition — the past living Chairs of the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce.
