Miami Children’s Museum Not So Scary Family Halloween Bash

Pumpkins, Candy, Costumes and a Haunted House with Quite a Few Ghosts!

Once again the Miami Children’s Museum (MCM) kicked off its annual Not So Scary Family Halloween Bash on Sunday, October 18th. Chaired by Alexis and Scott Wagner and Kelly and Chris Melchiondo, the event was sponsored by Greenberg Traurig, Golden Sands General Contractors, Robert and Michelle Diener and Whole Foods South Beach and Downtown Miami.

Little ghosts and goblins trick or treated around the Museum’s galleries with special treats supplied by KIND Bars, Atelier Monnier, Dairy Farmers of FL and Yelp Miami , braved the Haunted House, tested their knowledge in the Mad Scientist Lab and created crazed crafts. Other activities included Zumba by Baptist Health South Florida, a Monster Mash Dance Contest, MCM Players Meet & Greet, Sugar Skulls Art Activity, a Toddler Room, Face Painting and Pumpkin decorating. There was also a Phantom of the Opera themed photo opportunity and backdrop provided by Pottery Barn Kids. Guests could also get pampered with manicures, chair massages and Halloween makeup by Exhale Spa and Glam and Go.

The Museum’s 6th annual Bash was also a financial success, raising more than $96,000 to support Miami Children’s Museum’s educational programs.
