Miami Philanthropists in Central Park’s Conservatory Garden
New York's Frederick Law Olmsted Awards Luncheon was attended by some very notable locals.
The Women’s Committee and Board of Trustees of the Central Park Conservancy hosted its annual Frederick Law Olmsted Awards Luncheon in Central Park’s Conservatory Garden and Miami philanthropists entered the wrought iron gates with stylish storm. For the invitation-only event known as the “Hat” luncheon, South Florida philanthropists Marile Lopez and Suzy Buckley Woodward each hand-selected tables of friends and supporters who chose their fascinators and flew to the city for the occasion.
There, the local press including the New York Times and LookonLine spotted Lorena Perozo, Raquel Case, Daniele Berland, Amanda Altman, Lucy Morillo, Lydia Touzet, Katie Blanco Bourdeau, Nicole Fratarcangeli, Pearl Katz, Alexa Wolman and SocialMiami editor Brett Graff. They joined notable New Yorkers including Michael Bloomberg & Diana Taylor, Eleanora Kennedy, Susan Lucci, Elyse Newhouse, Martha Stewart, Suzy Welch, and Ali Wentworth.
The Women’s Committee, in partnership with the Central Park Conservancy, is a community of philanthropists with a passion for preserving and enhancing Central Park and this year raised $3.9 million.
