Moca’s Pop 8 ½
More than 800 partygoers celebrated La Dolce Vita at the Museum of Contemporary Art‘s fabulous fundraiser, POP 8 ½. Hosted by MOCA’s Patrons Executive Committee and inspired by famed Italian filmmaker Federico Fellini, the evening raised approximately $500,000 for MOCA’s Permanent Collection Acquisition Fund. Among those in attendance at POP 8 ½ were artist Frank Stella, MOCA Chairman Irma Braman, North Miami Mayor Kevin Burns, WSVN anchor Belkys Nerey (Honorary Chair) Alan and Diane Lieberman of The Catalina Hotel & Beach Resort (Honorary Chairs and sponsors), Consul General of Italy Marco Rocca (Honorary Chair), POP 8 ½ Co-Chairs Lourdes Jofre Collett and Susan Zarchen, Ana Laura Arellano(sponsor), Sofia and Mike Segal (sponsor), Diana and Louis Jaffe (sponsors).
