About The Victory Center for Autism and Related Disabilities
The mission of The Victory Center, a Florida non-sectarian, non–for-profit Corporation, is to provide children with Autism and similar disorders comprehensive individualized therapy. The students of The Victory Center receive Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy within a classroom setting based on the principals pioneered by B.F. Skinner within a 1:1, 2:1 and 3:1 teacher/student ratio. The money raised at the “Victory Monte Carlo Casino Night” will help fund The Victory Center’s educational programs and services such as:
- The Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention (EIBI) Program
- The Intensive Behavioral Intervention Program
- The Victory Pre-Academy Program
- The Victory Academy Program
- The Victory Vocational Program
Judi Nelson, Co-Founder, states, “One-to one and two-to-one Applied Behavioral Analysis intervention within a classroom setting is what sets The Victory Center apart from any other autism program in South Florida and is the key to success for our students, who face serious challenges. The Victory Center combines the intensive, individualized instruction children with autism need with the facilitated social interaction they often lack. We focus on the whole child, not just academics but life skills and social behavior as well. This is why our programs and services are so unique within the community.”
