In a glorious garden setting overlooking Biscayne Bay, Bunny Bastian, 2009 Outstanding Philanthropist of the Year, hosted the 2014 National Philanthropy Day honorees: Sonja Zuckerman, Lifetime Achievement; The Miami Foundation, Outstanding Grantmaker, represented by Julie Bindbeutal and Rebecca Mandelbaum; Macy’s, Julia Tuttle Outstanding Corporate Citizen, represented by Exec. VP and Regional Director of SE, Darlene Hines.
Chaired by Sallie Byrd, Melanie Cohen, and Ilene Zweig, the celebration was part of the Association of Fundraising Professionals National Philanthropy Day festivities. Guests were feted with hors d’oeuvres created by A Joy Wallace Catering and wines donated by YaYa Wines.
