Mission Statement

Losing a loved one, a parent, brother or sister, grandparent or friend, may be the most devastating and disrupting experience of a child’s life. For over thirteen years the Children’s Bereavement Center (CBC) has provided free peer support groups to thousands of individuals, helping children, teens, young adults and caregivers to find the camaraderie, comfort and information needed to rebuild their lives after loss. The CBC is now expanding with two new sites in North Miami-Dade and Broward counties, to better serve the South Florida community.
