Mission Statement

New World School of the Arts was created by the Florida Legislature as a center of excellence in the performing and visual arts. The school, an educatonal partnership of Miami-Dade County Public Schools, Miami Dade College and the University of Florida, prepares students for professional careers in dance, music, theater and visual arts. Through its sponsoring institutions, New World School of the Arts awards the Bachelor of Fine Arts and Bachelor of Music degrees.
