Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science

Mission Statement

There’s always something new to discover at the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science, Miami’s only planetarium, aquarium and science museum! From the fascinating science behind South Florida’s vibrant ecosystems to the miraculous human body and mind, a dazzling world of discovery awaits within each of its permanent and special exhibitions.

Riveting live shows, animals, hands-on interactives and cutting-edge technology are all part of the adventure ahead. Descend the thrilling depths of the museum’s three-level Aquarium, where you’ll touch a stingray, come face-to-face with hammerhead sharks, take in the wonder of jellies and more. Hurtle through space, slide down a double helix or climb aboard an asteroid—it’s all in a day’s work inside the Frost Planetarium. An architectural marvel in the heart of Downtown Miami’s Museum Park, Frost Science is a museum for all ages and interests.

Frost Science is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to environmental conservation, animal care and rehabilitation, science education and research. By supporting Frost Science, you help build riveting science exhibitions, provide free access to families and individuals who may otherwise may not be able to visit, develop award-winning educational programs and teacher trainings, create dynamic and engaging programming, and continue a commitment to ecosystem health and resilience. The museum is accredited by the American Alliance of Museums, is an affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution and a member of the Association of Science and Technology Centers.
