Mission Statement

United HomeCare® (UHC) is a 501 (c) (3), licensed and certified home health agency that today is one of Florida’s leading home health and community care organizations. UHC began in 1974 as a division of the United Way, to help families care for their elderly and disabled relatives at home. Independent since 1979, UHC has improved the lives of thousands of elderly and disabled adults in Miami-Dade County through award-winning community-based care solutions that promote independence and wellness. UHC today provides services to nearly 5,000 elderly and disabled adults. In 2013, UHC broke ground on its first assisted living community. The Residences of United HomeCare® is a 122 suite senior living complex located in West Kendall. The Residences of United HomeCare® is an elegant, modern community comprised of state-of-the-arts technology and first-class amenities that are appealing and price accessible to both private pay and subsidized residents. The Residences of United HomeCare® provides residents with an enriching experience, extraordinary care and a vibrant environment.
