Oscar Night
Miami had its own version of the Academy Awards as Miami Beach Film Society’s Cinematheque hosted the official local celebration of Oscar Night® America at Smith & Wollensky. This was MBC’s eighth year in a row to host and be the beneficiary of the event. $50,000 was raised to fund MBC’s upcoming move to Miami Beach City Hall this summer. The event’s red carpet and silent auction were hosted by diva extraordinaire Miss Elaine Lancaster. Guests watched the telecast live from the Kodak Theatre while enjoying Smith & Wollensky’s signature three-course dinner with Director’s Cut Chardonnay and Diamond Collection Claret by Coppola Wines.
