Sarah Arison Goes on an Art Basel Adventure
The Saturday night of Art Basel popped with excitement as the city was teeming with marquee events. In this exclusive video presentation, SocialMiami’s Sarah Arison was on the Basel beat attending two fabulous and star-studded events with Bombay Sapphire’s Richard McLeod and his wife Karlene. First a Chloe fashion show at the Soho Beach House, followed by the Bombay Sapphire Artisan Series at the Paris Theater with Russell Simmons. It was glamorous an chic as we party hopped with Bombay Sapphire!

Brett Graff’s Mixed Company
Civil and environmental engineer Michael Laas, 30, has a goal of getting Miami’s businesses to be thinking about the green stuff. Not money – though he claims financial savings are a side effect – but rather the reduction of their carbon footprints in the local community.
“We need to reduce energy consumption and emissions,” he says. “And if the whole world comes on board we’ll slow down warming process. The longer we procrastinate, the worse it’s going to get.”

Miami’s social girl made it through another Art Basel and has some great celeb stories to tell. She bounced around to a few fine events during the week, relying on quality rather than quantity. It was a Basel bonanza for AWB.
