Reception For Frost Museum Of Science

Miami Science Museum supporters Julia and David Bianchi hosted a reception at The Fisher Island Mansion Ballroom to celebrate the groundbreaking for Miami’s most exciting new landmark project. Slated to open in early 2015, the 250,000-square-foot Patricia and Phillip Frost Museum of Science is intended to act as a demonstration of ecological and sustainability principles, harnessing energy from water, sun, wind and museum visitor energy to power exhibits and conserve resources. At the reception, guests enjoyed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, as well as a presentation about the new museum by Gillian Thomas, Museum President and CEO.
