Red Shoe Society Kickoff

Hosted by The Edition Residences in Edgewater, Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Florida celebrated the official launch of its Red Shoe Society. The evening was filled with inspiration, camaraderie, and commitment to a noble cause. This new initiative aims to galvanize support for the RMHC South Florida, which provides essential support and resources for families with children undergoing medical treatment.
The Red Shoe Society is designed to unite passionate individuals to support the Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Florida’s mission. By fostering a community of like-minded women, the society aims to raise awareness, provide resources, and create lasting change for families facing medical challenges. The launch event served not only as a celebration of this new initiative but also as a reminder of the profound impact that collective efforts can have on the lives of families in need.
“It was an inspiring evening with 60 incredible women coming together in support of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Florida,” said Soraya Rivera-Moya, Executive Director of RMHC South Florida. “We look forward to announcing the next steps and are excited for what’s to come.”
A highlight of the evening was the heartfelt ceremony in which Desire, a mother currently residing at the Ronald McDonald House, was gifted a stunning pair of red shoes—symbolizing hope, empowerment, and the spirit of community. The event featured engaging discussions about the Ronald McDonald House’s mission, creating an atmosphere of joy and shared purpose. The event was attended by 60 remarkable women from the community, including leaders, philanthropists, and advocates dedicated to making a positive impact.
