Sauté & Sip Sizzles with Star Chefs and Raises $691,000 for Baptist Health Breast Center
Eleven of South Florida’s most celebrated chefs cooked for a cause at the eighth annual “Sauté & Sip” interactive dinner. Organized by Baptist Health Foundation and Baptist Outpatient Services, the sold-out event raised $691,000 for Baptist Health Breast Center’s CareCoach, Survivorship and Genetic Testing programs.
The evening’s recognized chefs included: Andres Barrientos, Miami Smokers Urban Smokehouse; Adrianne Calvo, Chef Adrianne’s; Fabrizio Carro, Via Verdi; Doreen Colondres, chef and author, La Cocina No Muerde and The Kitchen Doesn’t Bite; Paula Da Silva, 3030 Ocean; Todd Erickson, Haven Lounge; Thomas Griese, Michael Mina 74; Cindy Hutson, Ortanique on the Mile; Martin Rodrigue, Le Basque; Michael Shikany, SHIKANY, and Norman Van Aken, chef and founder of In the Kitchen with Norman Van Aken Cooking School.
Chaired by Express Travel President & CEO Olga Ramudo and Baptist Outpatient Services CEO Patricia Rosello, the event was made possible in large part through the generosity of American Airlines, Bacardi, Carnival Corporation & PLC, Del Monte Fresh Produce, Florida Blue, Hirayama Investments, LLC, LAN Airlines, Media Counselors, Pathology Associates of South Miami, Radiology Associates of South Florida, Regis Corporation, Republica, The Miami HEAT, Tourist Office of Spain and Urgent Care Physicians of South Florida.
