Simon Wiesenthal Center’s Southern Director
Tamar Kohn Marks has been appointed the new Southern Director for the Simon Wiesenthal Center. Executive Director Rabbi Meyer H. May welcomed Marks, saying, “Tamar comes to the Center with vast experience as a business strategist and fundraising professional for Florida’s Jewish community.” Prior to joining the Wiesenthal Center, Tamar was the COO of MPM Associates in Miami and also planned and implemented the annual fundraising campaigns as Chief Financial Resource Development Officer for the Greater Miami Jewish Federation and oversaw similar campaigns for the Sarasota Manatee Jewish Federation and the Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore.
