SocialMiami takes a close look at Gala Gowns

Compiled by Alice Fisher

Gala Season is once again upon us and the question is, as always, “What to wear?” For those who can’t find their ideal ready-to-wear gown, there is a viable option – custom gowns designed specifically for you. The interactive process allows gala gals to select the fabric, counsel with design and create a one-of-a-kind masterpiece. To get in the spirit, we asked four Miami couturiers questions about their craft, the latest trends, past and current clients and more.

Three Days in NYC

SocialMiami’s Aaron Glickman was in New York for a jam-packed three day trip that included an engagement party in Tribeca, a walking tour of artists’ studios in Greenpoint, and The Great Sports Legends Dinner at the historic Waldorf-Astoria hotel benefiting the Miami Project to Cure Paralysis and Buoniconti Fund. There was no time to rest for Aaron, and he has the exciting recap to prove it.
