SOCIAL Manny: YoungArts Week
Manny Hernandez was on the YoungArts beat this past week photographing the master classes, Jazz Roots and the gala. These events comprised the week-long arts education program that brought to Miami the very best high school arts students in the nation. Artists Plácido Domingo, Academy Award winner Marisa Tomei, Mikhail Baryshnikov, Joshua Bell, Adrian Grenier, Debbie Allen and Bill T. Jones are just a sampling of the masters who participated in YoungArts Week. In addition, the annual An Affair of the Arts gala brought out Miami’s top arts patrons for an epic night that included a multi-disciplinary performance, dinner, and a street party on Flagler Street DJ’d by the Miami Heat’s DJ Irie.
