Social Styles: Haute Happenings in February

Who Wore What to Where by Elysze Held

In South Florida, the name Elysze Held is synonymous with style. As founder and president of the Miami fashion/image consulting firm, Style Out of the City, Elysze is a veteran insider in the fashion industry, is the personal stylist to WSVN 7/Deco Drive’s hosts, Lynn Martinez & Louis Aguirre and has dressed CEO’s, models, super-models, celebrities, socialites & fashionistas! Based in South Florida,Elysze commutes to New York, styles national advertising campaigns and is the Fashion Editor for Palm Beach Woman Magazine. With her stylist’s eye, she lets us know WHO WORE WHAT to WHERE!

Fresh from New York Fashion Week (and snow) SocialMiami contributor Stylist Elysze Held hit the ground running on her return from attending over 30 NYFW shows (stay tuned for her article on what to expect for Fall 2014) and set out to substantiate the smart, sophisticated, and polished style that is modern Miami (NOT tight dresses and gravity-defying shoes)!

February in Miami is a societal dream: Sylvester’s Designed for a Cure with Oscar de la Renta; the much anticipated Miami City Ballet Gala for “Triple Threat”; Donna Karan Kick-off event at Saks Bal Harbour; the Grand Opening of DELPOZO, the uber-chic new store in the Design District; A Sobe Wine & Food Festival Cocktail Reception at the new Ritz Carlton Residences in honor of Martha Stewart; the L’Oreal Paris beauty blast at PAMM; Christofle Paris Etiquette Luncheon at the Sponder Gallery; Journalist Brett Graff’s Birthday Luncheon in Key Biscayne hosted by Cliff & DiAnna Drysdale and of course, the luxurious Vizcaya Museum and Gardens Annual Preservation “HAT Luncheon”!
