Real Housewives of Miami star Guerdy Abraira hosted a fashion show to raise money on behalf of Kenbe La Foundation for the Children of Haiti Project. Abraira was born in Haiti and while her parents moved her to Paris and eventually Miami, she has stated to friends and on camera that her brother and his children were killed in the earthquake there.
The event, however, was festive and fabulous, as sponsors from the city came out to support with a tropical inspired culinary spread and unlimited cocktails and champagne. Later, a fashion show featured the collection from Ndigo Studio. In attendnce were cast members Dr. Nicole Martin, Marysol Patton, Alexia Echavarria, Kiki Barth and Julia Lemigova. Supporters also came from Miami’s elite social scene including Ariel Penzer Milgroom (who flew in from New York for the occasion,) Tatiana Teo, Christina Soto from Diamonds on the Key, Alyssa Alvarez, Hanna Gotz and SocialMiami editor Brett Graff.
