Stone Crabs at Joe’s
Aaron and Dorothy Podhurst chair exclusive dinner
Celebrating 29 years of partnership, Informed Families/The Florida Family Partnership and Joe’s Stone Crab will join together to host the 29th Annual Informed Families Dinner at Joe’s Stone Crab.
The event will take place on Monday, May 19, from 6:30–9:30 p.m. Funds raised will support Informed Families’ statewide prevention programs and initiatives designed to help kids grow up safe, healthy and drug free.
Longtime Informed Families donors, Informed Families/Joe’s event enthusiasts and community leaders Aaron and Dorothy Podhurst have been selected to serve as the event’s chairs. Aaron Podhurst, partner at Podhurst Orseck, P.A., winner of the 2014 Miami Today Gold Medal Award, and his wife Dorothy haven’t missed an Informed Families Dinner at Joe’s Stone Crab in 29 years.
Guests will enjoy delicious stone crab without the wait, celebrity sightings, and no boring speeches – just good times while supporting the important cause of preventing drug use and underage drinking. A pre-dinner social will take place at 6:30 p.m. Celebrity Maître ‘Ds will seat guests at 7:30 p.m., where they will enjoy Joe’s signature dishes and legendary service.
An exclusive raffle opportunity is available for a chance to win a fabulous dinner for 20 guests at Joe’s. Only 200 tickets will be sold for a minimum suggested donation of $100; the drawing will be held at 8:30 p.m. at the event (participants do not have to be present to win.)
