“Strut Your Stuff For Cancer” at the Falls
The Falls is honored to host its first annual “Strut Your Stuff For Cancer” fundraising event on Thursday, October 6th from 6 – 9 p.m. to benefit Cancer Support Community Greater Miami, Sandy B. Muller Breast Cancer Foundation and La Liga Contra El Cancer. The event, presented by Baptist Health Breast Center and Williamson Cadillac, will shed light on these local organizations that help patients and families overcome challenges during the treatment and recovery process.
The Falls’ “Strut Your Stuff For Cancer” will recognize National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Aside from non-melanoma skin cancer, breast cancer is the most common cancer among women in the United States.
“The Falls is proud to join forces with these local organizations and celebrate all they do to support patients and families throughout their breast cancer journey,” said Dailen Rodriguez, director of mall marketing and business development. “We invite everyone to strap on their heels and walk for a great cause.”
Tamara G., co-host of the COAST 97.3 FM morning show, will emcee the celebration of hope on the runway featuring “well-heeled” cancer survivors and those angels who have helped them recover. Local celebrities will also be ready to strike a pose on the runway at The Falls including Roxanne Vargas, Nathalie Pozo and Amara Sohn of NBC6, Sasha Andrade and Johanna Gomez of WPLG Local 10, Lisett Mari and Leticia Hernandez of Telemundo and Sonia Parissos of Univision.
There is a $25 Strut Your Stuff registration fee, which includes an event gift bag and a VIP entrance with 100% of the registration fee benefitting the guest’s chosen charity. The event will feature wellness presentations, live entertainment and a chic cocktail hour sponsored by Brugal Rum, Blue Martini Kendall and Rex Goliath Wines.
