As always, all of the shows and activities coincide with SwimShow at the Miami Beach Convention Center, a swimwear tradeshow attracting more than 7,500 brands and buyers from 60 countries, representing more than 1,500 stores and 2,500 buyers from across the world.
We spoke to a few of Miami’s most knowledge fashion experts to see what they had in store.
Popular fashion writer Maria Tettamanti from thewordygirl.com has her entire week mapped out.
“As always, my most favorite aspect of Swim Week are the fashion shows at The Raleigh — with the Mara Hoffman show being the weekend’s zenith,” says Tettamanti. “I’m also excited about the pop-up INTERMIX shop event I happen to be hosting at The Delano on Saturday. The open-to-the public Allure Lounge at Hyde Beach at SLS South Beach is another can’t miss event — it allows revelers to freshen up between the shoes and soirees with express manicures, dry styling and eyebrow shaping. Brilliant!”
Stylist Rachael Russell will once again take over the Soho Beach House with her annual Style Saves fundraiser on Friday, July 18.

Finally, stylist and SocialMiami contributing writer, Elysze Held (styleoutofthecity.com), has two brands that she favors.
“Clover Canyon, the West Coast contemporary design house (adored by Miami fashionistas for their digital prints) will be showing for the first time,” she says. “Miami girls love their Clover Canyon and I am sure the reviews with be great for this show!”
Held is also excited for Maaji. “This Colombian swimwear brand counts quite a few celebrities amongst their biggest fans,” she says. “Maaji’s 2015 ‘Royal Riders’ collection of equestrian-inspired women’s swimsuits & apparel will be very exciting to see on the runway. I really am looking forward to their custom stage set design and how they style each and every model individually!”.
The week is sure to be hot, hot, hot. Stay tuned for SocialMiami’s continuing coverage of Miami’s biggest summer event.
