Join NFL Hall of Fame linebacker Nick Buoniconti and his son Marc to celebrate the 33rd Annual Great Sports Legends Dinner, presented by Tudor Group. The event takes place on Monday evening, September 24, 2018, at the New York Hilton Midtown in New York City and benefits The Buoniconti Fund to Cure Paralysis.

Over the last 32 years supporters, honorees and guests of the Great Sports Legends Dinner have raised funds and awareness for the groundbreaking research being done at The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis. As the fundraising arm of The Miami Project, The Buoniconti Fund hosts one of the premier sports recognition events in the nation. The highlight of this terrific evening is paying tribute to “Great Sports Legends” from different sporting categories, who inspire and motivate others to stand up for those who can’t.

The Buoniconti Fund will recognize the 2018 Sports Legends and Honorees: Alex Rodriguez, Ray Allen, Bob Griese, Mike Smith, Brian Boitano and Amy Purdy. Polo great Ignacio “Nacho” Figueras will be awarded the 2018 Philanthropist Award, and South Florida’s own tennis legend Chris Evert the Humanitarian Award.

The Dinner will be once again chaired by Mark Dalton, and NBC television sportscaster Bob Costas will serve as the Master of Ceremonies. Guests will enjoy a live performance by KC & The Sunshine Band.
