The Children’s Trust Elects New Chair
The Children’s Trust Board of Directors made history at its recent board meeting when it voted on its first leadership change since The Children’s Trust was created in 2002. The full board elected Citrus Health Network’s COO, Maria Alonso, as the new chair and Chief Assistant State Attorney for Operations with the Miami-Dade County State Attorney’s Office, Chet J. Zerlin, as the new vice chair. Alonso was appointed by former Florida Governor Jeb Bush in 2003 to serve on The Children’s Trust Board.
