Hospitality entrepreneur Maggio Cipriani hosted an invite-only gathering to launch of Socialista Miami, a lounge located next to Cipriani Downtown Miami. Guests – including Bella Hadid, Vanity Fair’s Radhika Jones, Joan Smalls, Kourtney Kardashian, Nina Dobrev, Luka Sabbat, Vita Sidorkina, Madison Headrick, Ezra Williams, Larry Millstein– enjoyed Domaine Bertaud Belieu Rose and Socialista’s signature cocktails. The president of Cirpriani US launched the concept already in New York, London and Dubai.
Last night, Phillips and The Bass Museum of Art, in partnership with Cultured Magazine, honored artist Lara Favaretto and her newly commissioned work, Gummo VI, at iconic South Beach restaurant Mr. Chow. Unveiled at The Bass on December 1st as part of her solo exhibition, Lara Favaretto: Blind Spot, the new site-specific work for The Bass’ permanent collection comprises five automated car wash brushes constantly twirling and wearing themselves down against metal plates. Hosted by Vivian Pfeiffer, Deputy Chairman and Head of Business Development, Americas, Phillips and Silvia Karman Cubiñá, Executive Director and Chief Curator, The Bass Museum of Art, guests included Mera and Don Rubell, Sarah Harrelson, Laure Hériard Dubreuil, Lily Kwong, Sarah Arison, Rodman Primack, Andrea Glimcher and Polina Proshkina.
Neiman Marcus Bal Harbour and Roland Mouret hosted a dinner for a guest list just 18 ladies long. At Forte di Marmi on Ocean Drive, Hayley Sloman, Barbara Hevia, Marisa Toccin Lucas, Krista Rosenberg, Suzy Buckley Woodward dined on burrata, fried zucchini flowers, artichoke salads and fresh snapper with pistachio gelato for dessert. Guests took away a Roland Mouret perfume.

Thursday: Lavazza’s private media preview is at Casa Faena and Art Nexus magazine host’s it’s annual event. Seaspice, the waterfront dining sensation, unveils The Gallery at an invitation-only gathering, where it will feature French a visionary painter Lucas Beaufort. VERSACE X Sasha Bikoff will host an event at the Design District shop and The InterContinental Miami hotel will partner with global artist Kai and Markowicz Fine Art in hotel’s lobby for never-before-seen works, bites and beverages.
