Art Miami + CONTEXT Art Miami kicked off with a VIP Preview benefiting the Perez Art Museum Miami. Fairs combined feature over 240 galleries from 17 countries, providing collectors the opportunity to acquire a vast array of iconic contemporary and modern artworks from world renowned artists, as well as groundbreaking works from emerging artists.

“Once again, we are honored to be a partner of Art Miami and CONTEXT Art Miami, our neighbors just down the street,” shares PAMM Director Franklin Sirman. “Opening night is a spectacular gathering of international collectors old and new, and continues to welcome the diverse crowds that are a part of Miami Art Week.”

The preview drew Miami’s most prestigious people, as excited collectors and socialites poured in with designer clothes and – for the occasion – (somewhat) comfortable shoes. Sandra Fiorenza, who prior to the festivities hosted a dinner for Rolls Royce at her home, said, “I got to Art Miami to buy art. I find the pieces most interesting and most relatable there.”

Art Miami Fair highlights for 2022 include, Cortesi Gallery’s new digital branch, dedicated to generative digital art will display physical prints by some of the most influential NFT artists, such as Iskra and Anna Lucia and Priveekollektie presents “The Continent Series” by David Dessens, which emphasizes the importance of biodiversity and wildlife conservation through its depiction of endangered animals vulnerable to extinction.
