The Galaxy Gala, Miami Science Museum’s annual signature event, will be titled “An Event Clearly Out of this World” to celebrate the Museum’s tenth gala event. Founded in 2003 by Board Chairs Trish & Dan Bell, this year’s event will be an exciting, exceptional evening showcasing the 60+ year mission of Miami Science Museum and its new $275 million Museum waterfront project, the Patricia and Phillip Frost Museum of Science in downtown Miami adjacent to the American Airlines Arena.

Themed in radiant white and extraterrestrial luminous beams, the evening will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a cocktail reception and silent auction. Dinner and dancing to live music along with a dazzling laser experience enhance the gala offering. At 10 p.m. the event will transform into the Big Bang, a high-energy dance party designed to integrate young professionals to the event. The Big Bang runs until 2 a.m. Admission for the gala is by invitation only. Tickets for the Big Bang will be separately available for sale in December 2011.
