It was a night of compelling conversation, powerful song and unforgettable energy as friends and allies came together at the Loews Hotel Miami Beach for The Main Event benefiting the Greater Miami Jewish Federation. Federation Board Chair Lily Serviansky and General Campaign Chair Moj Khaghan Danial shared how we are Jewish Miami Strong and how the Annual Federation Campaign supports local and global needs. Through a stunning musical performance, 2025 Eurovision contestant Yuval Raphael paid tribute to the worldwide Jewish community’s resilience after October 7 and memorialized the women and girls murdered at the Tribe of Nova Music Festival. IDF Sergeant Major (res.) Noam Buskila brought the crowd to its feet for joyous dancing and singing in a 15-minute set of rousing Jewish and Hebrew songs. Noa Tishby moderated a spirited and often emotional conversation with Van Jones and Douglas Murray about the disturbing rise of worldwide antisemitism and anti-Israel sentiment.

A highlight of the evening was recognizing five individuals for their extraordinary leadership in Jewish Miami. Jonathan Raiffe and Pamela Wolfson received the Stanley C. Myers Presidents’ Leadership Award; Jacob Diamond received the Robert Russell Fellowship Award; and Maty Jamal and Joey Katz were honored with the Sandra C. Goldstein Young Leadership Award.
