The Miami Heat Charitable Fund Gala
The Miami HEAT Charitable Fund Gala, presented by Hublot, was a black-tie bash to benefit charitable causes supported by the Miami HEAT. Traditionally, the event is held in a private home, but this year the gala took to the beach where festivities were held in view of the ocean at Lummus Park. Gala guests – our Miami HEAT players among them- took a roundabout route to the cocktail reception held in the middle of Ocean Drive. For dinner everyone was ushered from Ocean Drive to the dining tent on the beach, walking through an entryway lined by Hublot Watch cases. Dinner was hosted by Miami HEAT sponsor Smith & Wollensky who provided a sumptuous dinner and the culinary staff who prepared it. Each of the dinner tables was hosted by a HEAT player. Ending off this incredible evening, guests moved yet again, this time to the after-party tent close to the sand dunes where they were treated to a private performance by Grammy Award-winning artist Toni Braxton.

Social Styles with Elysze Held
Globally, Miami style has always been noted for that smoldering bombshell look-but as Stylist Elysze Held scrutinizes the varied looks at luncheons and evening soirees, she noted “Miamians have an incredible commitment to style”-spearheaded by the tasteful ode to black—black & white—white on white. At many a Miami soirees, Elegant yet pretty dresses dominated the scene, followed by ensembles in vibrant colors, or with accents of spicey tones and eye-catching prints. And Hats.
