Baptist Health Foundation welcomed a new class of Founders Society members by honoring their generosity. At an invitation-only dinner at the Biltmore Hotel, the 98 new Founders were recognized individually.

The Founders Society is composed of donors whose cumulative contributions to Baptist Health have reached $60,000 or more. Members include philanthropists, grateful patients, physicians and community leaders.

William H. Banchs, CEO of Baptist Health Foundation, told the group, “You can take great pride in your role of promoting, and contributing to, outstanding healthcare in our community. The culture of philanthropy is alive and well at Baptist Health, and is certainly evident among all of you in this room. We are deeply grateful for your generosity.”

Baptist Health President and CEO Brian E. Keeley noted that donors like Founders Society members make a difference in improving the health and well-being of the entire community. “I often talk about how philanthropy has allowed us to maintain our ‘margin of excellence,’ filling the gap between what we can do, and what we aspire to do. We are deeply grateful for your generosity.”

The Foundation’s annual event was sponsored in part by Intercontinental Real Estate Corporation.
