Sonia Gibson, Jim Murphy & Linda Levy Goldberg

The 23rd Annual Twelve Good Men Luncheon, benefiting Ronald McDonald House Charities, will recognize men in the community for their philanthropic work with charities and non-profit organizations. The luncheon brings together current and past honorees, together with their friends and families, as well as many supporters of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Florida.

The event will begin with a reception and silent auction at 11:30 a.m. and will continue with the luncheon and awards ceremony in the Treetop Ballroom at Jungle Island. Co-Chairs are Linda Levy-Goldberg, Jim Murphy and Sonia Gibson. WPLG Channel 10’s Calvin Hughes will again serve as the master of ceremonies.

The Twelve Good Men Luncheon is the premier fundraising event to benefit The Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Florida. The purpose of the event is to honor leading men with a history of outstanding community involvement, civic service and dedication to one or more South Florida charity organizations. Last year more than 300 people attended the luncheon, and more than $80,000 was raised to help fund the annual operating budget of “The House that Love Built®.”

Luncheon tickets, $225 per person and $2250 per table of ten, will be available online in mid-January 2016 at www.RMHCSouthFlorida.org. Proceeds benefit the children and families staying at the Ronald McDonald Houses of Miami and Fort Lauderdale.

About Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Florida

Since 1981, Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of South Florida has been dedicated to helping local children live happier, healthier and more productive lives by supporting health care and medical research programs, education and the arts, and civic and social programs. Its cornerstone program, the Ronald McDonald House®, provides a “home away from home” for families with ill children receiving treatment at nearby pediatric medical facilities in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties. RMHC of South Florida also awards grants to local not-for-profit organizations serving children through a portion of donations from McDonald’s customers and Global Ronald McDonald House Charities matching grants.
