V73 Grand Opening in the Design District
Venice themed soiree celebrates Designer Elisabetta Armellin´s boutique
Italy meets Miami in high style at the V73 grand opening affair in the Design District (See Party Pics). Kim Bacardi, Criselda Breene, Shanan Flaxman, Natasha Sen, Beba Ortega, Linda Levy Goldberg, Irene Korge and Marlen Pernetti hosted a stylish Venetian themed soiree to celebrate the opening of Designer Elisabetta Armellin´s V73 boutique. Miami´s most fashionable crowd mingled with a notable Italian contingency, fully clad in tuxedos and designer gowns, that flew directly from Venice for the joyous occasion.
Designer Elisabetta Armellin was on hand to launch V73, her successful handbag and accessories brand. The evening unveiled the newest boutique in the district, beautifully designed in Italy by architect Antonio Gatti. Three hundred guests were welcomed at the door with a V73 original and playful leather bracelet-watch, a gift from Elisabetta.
After viewing the collections and admiring the design touches in the boutique, including a superb Murano chandelier that anchors the space, guests exited through the back door and descended into a re-creation of an Italian garden surrounded by the arches of Venice´s Palazzo Ducale. Elisabetta had many surprises for her guests most importantly a unique and original V73 limited edition collection, conceived and designed for this occasion through an exclusive partnership with Galleria degli Uffizi Firenze. The collection features never before seen prints by Leonardo da Vinci, among others, and is available through special order only.
Guests also enjoyed an Italian style aperitivo served by a venetian-masked staff, viewed a high-tech presentation of the exclusive and unpublished prints from the archives of the museum and experienced a classical violin concert with a modern twist.
The soiree culminated with an exclusive VIP dinner at the Cipriani Downtown hosted by Elisabetta and her husband Stefano Greco honouring the hostesses and special dignitaries.

Elisabetta is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice and holds a Master´s degree in Shoe Design Development from Milan´s prestigious Fashion School. She started designing at the early age of 20 for contemporary fashion brands Stefanel and Benetton. She finds her design inspiration in Venice where her dream of launching her own label was born as she walked down the “calli” (streets) that lead to her Atelier each day. The idea for the brand´s name came from a recurrent number in her busy life, 73. It´s the year she was born and the number displayed among the four figures of the Atelier address´s street number. Elisabetta resides in Treviso, Italy, in a restored 1612 villa with her family.
