Voices For Children Foundation’s Annual Golf Invitational 2023
The event brought together an esteemed group of real estate development and construction industry leaders who joined forces to rally behind the cause of supporting children in Miami-Dade County's foster care system.
Voices for Children Foundation raised a historic $350,000 at the 9th annual Voices for Children Golf Invitational hosted by Brad Meltzer at La Gorce Country Club in Miami Beach, surpassing previous years’ contributions.
“We are immensely thankful to have a supportive board member like Brad Meltzer, whose shown an unwavering support for our mission of becoming a beacon of hope for children in foster care in Miami-Dade County through critical support for advocacy, essential needs and positive experiences,” said VFC President and CEO Kadie Black.
“Suzanne and I are proud to be affiliated with the important work being done by the staff, board of directors, and many volunteers at Voices for Children. It is heartbreaking to think that thousands of children in Miami-Dade County are trying to navigate a world without a parent to care for them and help guide them through life. The funds we raise will ensure that these precious children have a Guardian ad Litem to advocate for them and the financial assistance they so desperately need. I am grateful to all those who supported this event, as the impact is so meaningful,” said Brad Meltzer.

A lucky golfer took home 2023 Cadillac C35 for the first time in the 17 year history of the event after making a hole-in-one on the treacherous 187-yard par three, 6th hole at La Gorce Country Club!
Funds raised will help fund critical support for advocacy, educational and social needs, which include: sourcing dignity items such as clothing, school supplies, bikes, laptops and gifts for their birthdays or the holidays; providing basic necessities such as food assistance, personal hygiene, transportation and housing; and gifting life experiences such as prom, birthday parties, summer camp, college tours and more.
