YPO’s A HALLOWEEN BASH
The Coral Gables Museum became a spooktacular evening of outrageous costumes, dancing and a dinner fit for witches.
The Young Patronesses of the Opera (YPO) haunted the Coral Gables Museum for its annual fundraiser, “A Halloween Bash.” It was a huge financial success thanks to its many sponsors: Eeva & Harry Kulovaara, Linda & Paul Sugrue, Deborah & James Davidson, Susan Abraham, Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, Selecta Magazine (in-kind), Montica Jewelry, JCG Jewelry, and Rodez Art Gallery. YPO’s President Carolina Friedhoff led a talented group of gala chairs – Nicole Acosta, Sanela Ebbeskov Jankovic, Susan Feldman, Linda Neider Sugrue, and Rebecca Spinale – to create a spooktacular evening of outrageous costumes, dancing to the fantastic DJ Javi D, elaborate silent auction, and a dinner fit for witches. The packed house was regaled by entertainment performed by 10 dynamic opera singers from New World School of the Arts Voice Department and the evening was capped off with a performance of Libiamo ne’lieti calici . . . a beautiful ending to a rollicking evening!
