Zoo Miami
Now officially known as Zoo Miami and sporting a new logo and entrance, Miami’s popular wildlife park will celebrate its 30th birthday this weekend. And to show appreciation for the South Florida community’s patronage all these years, Zoo Miami is offering a special $5 admission fee July 3-5 so that the public can enjoy a weekend’s worth of activities and birthday festivities. Giveaways, entertainment, contests and prizes, a special 4th of July BBQ menu at the Oasis Grille, free ice cream at the Blue Bell mobile ice cream parlor, and lots more await Zoo Miami guests throughout the weekend. And if you want to show your support of Florida wildlife conservation, give the Zoo a $5 birthday gift by simply texting ZOO to 501501. With your help, the Zoo will showcase wildlife and plant life from Florida and the Everglades in a new exhibit in 2013.
