Vizcaya Museum and Gardens
3251 South Miami Avenue, Miami
Many of South Florida’s most fashion-forward philanthropists will fill Vizcaya Museum and Gardens on March 12 with a kaleidoscope of spring color and an array of sensational hats! It’s frivolous and fun, but serious in its mission.
The luncheon raises funds to preserve and protect Vizcaya Museum and Gardens for the community. Luncheon funds are dedicated to safeguarding this National Historic landmark and cultural hub for future generations. There is much to be accomplished at Vizcaya in 2019 and for years to come. The strategic plan for a unified Vizcaya aims for the Village to realize its full potential as a community resource through innovative programming for locals and visitors alike and to relate the full history of the estate.
Each year 300 or more guests attend the Preservation Luncheon, also known as the “hat luncheon,” as attendees are encouraged to wear stylish hats. The dayn begins with a late morning cocktail reception in the magnificent Vizcaya Gardens and continues with an elegant seated luncheon. For James Deering ticket holders, the Après Fete takes place in the Courtyard featuring entertainment, lite bites, and a prosecco and wine bar. This year we welcome you to join our fashionable fashion contest at the luncheon.
Join friends and supporters of Vizcaya Museum & Gardens for this year’s elegant celebratory afternoon at the iconic estate.
