A landmark in Miami’s fundraising scene, the 2011 Be A Voice Gala will take place on Saturday, February 19, hosted for the 10th year in a row by the Mandarin Oriental, Miami. The cocktail reception and silent auction will start at 7:30 p.m., followed by dinner and dancing at 9 p.m.

influential residents. It also serves as a platform to recognize the extraordinary contributions of individuals working for the benefit of Miami-Dade’s abused, abandoned, and neglected children.

Each year guests not only enjoy the exquisite menu, decorations, and entertainment, but are profoundly moved by the stories and testimonials showcasing the importance of Guardian ad Litem representation and the assistance Voices provides for the children in the dependency system.

Voices For Children Foundation raises funds to support Miami-Dade’s Guardian Ad Litem Program in their efforts to recruit, train, and support Guardians Ad Litem, court-appointed adults who serve as advocates for the best interests of abused, abandoned, and neglected children involved in dependency court proceedings. Additionally, Voices For Children provides direct financial assistance and other resources to meet these children’s medical, educational, and social needs.
