Miami City Ballet will host its annual Nutcracker Magic Children’s Soirée on Sunday, December 16, at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts. Attendees will enjoy a spectacular holiday brunch in a winter wonderland setting in the Peacock Foundation Studio before attending a VIP performance of George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker®.

During the 10:30 a.m. brunch reception hosted by event Co-Chairs Asha Elias, Nikki Squire and Tina van der Ven, there will be dancing, sweet treats, and kids will have the exclusive opportunity to meet dancers from the production.

After brunch, guests will make their way to prime seating in the main theater for the 1 p.m. performance of The Nutcracker. Guests will be transported to a magical world of toy soldiers, colorful characters and the enchanting “Dance of the Sugarplum Fairy”. Balanchine’s iconic choreography and Tchaikovsky’s timeless score, performed by a live orchestra, complete the experience. Backstage access with themed photo opportunities are available for VIP and sponsor level ticket-holders.
