Voices For Children Foundation, Inc., a beacon of hope for abused, abandoned, and neglected children in Miami-Dade County’s foster care system, is proud to announce the outstanding success of the Annual Voices For Children Golf Invitational. Held at the picturesque La Gorce Country Club, the event raised over $350,000 in net proceeds—100 percent of which will go directly toward supporting the 1,400 children experiencing foster care throughout Miami-Dade County.

Hosted by Board Member and Chair-Elect Brad Meltzer, Partner and President of Two Roads Development, the event brought together South Florida’s top leaders in real estate development and construction for a day of golf, camaraderie, and meaningful impact. Meltzer’s unwavering dedication to Voices For Children has helped raise more than $2.8 million to date.

“Yes, today was about golf and fun and fellowship,” said Meltzer, “but most importantly, it’s about supporting a cause that gives a voice to the voiceless.”

The day’s impact was brought into sharp focus by Cole, a young adult who grew up in foster care and whose life was profoundly shaped by Voices For Children. Now employed by the organization, Cole shared his story with event guests, offering a powerful reminder of what their support makes possible.

“Voices connected me with opportunities and resources I might never have had, from an advocate and essentials like health insurance, EBT, and a passport to transformative experiences like our annual service trip to the Dominican Republic,” Cole said. “But more than anything, they gave me what every child deserves: a sense of belonging. A family.”

The funds raised will go toward providing critical support in the form of advocacy, essential needs, and life-changing experiences—core to Voices For Children’s mission. The foundation works tirelessly to ensure every child in foster care feels seen, supported, and empowered.
