4th Annual Fashion Gives Back
The Miami Children’s Young Ambassadors’ 4th Annual Fashion Gives Back event proved that giving back never goes out of style. Hosted by the MCYA, Fashion Gives Back was an elegant evening complete with fashion, fun and cocktails. The event, designed for the young community to raise funds and awareness for Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, brought together hundreds of young professionals, all dedicated to giving back to a great cause – the children.
Created in 2012 by MCYA members Ricky Patel and Wesley Farrell, Fashion Gives Back attracted local news anchor and longtime Nicklaus Children’s Hospital supporter, Beatriz Canals, who served as emcee. The Miami Design District’s Moore Building served as the ideal backdrop for the latest collections and must-have trends of the season for men and women from Neiman Marcus Bal Harbour. Cocktails were sponsored by Tito’s Vodka and hors d’oeuvres by Thierry’s Catering.
Special guest of the evening was Izabella, a Nicklaus Children’s Hospital patient. who shared her story, inspired hope and reminded all that the true mission of the event was coming together for the children.
