8th Annual Breakfast in the Park
Miami Beach Botanical Garden
The Patricia & Phillip Frost Art Museum celebrated the 8th annual Breakfast in the Park with hundreds of guests. Visitors enjoyed an outdoor breakfast, guided tours of Sculpture Park and museum exhibits, and listened to an informal talk by renowned sculptor Joel Perlman. Perlman has been creating complex sculptures out of steel, bronze, copper and aluminum since the early 1970’s. He builds sculptural pieces by welding metal in stacks or perilous joints.
Guests were also able to see The Frost Art Museum’s current exhibitions: Tour de France/Florida: Contemporary Artists from France in Florida’s Private Collections; color on color; Magdalena Fernandez’s 2iPM009; The Fire Next Time by Humberto Calzada; and Modern Meals: Remaking American Foods from Farm to Kitchen.
