Opera in the Park

Everyone had an orchestra seat as the Florida Grand Opera performed a 45 minute concert on the steps of the Bass Museum at Collins Park. The concert, performed by the main stage performers of Madama Butterfly, was a Mother’s Day treat on a stunning South Beach Sunday. With a slight breeze off of the Atlantic, the operatic voices filled the air for the crowd of roughly 800. FGO’s Justin Moss acted as master of ceremonies and led the “Opera Free for All.”Miami photographer Tomas Loewy shot the action for SocialMiami and the Florida Grand Opera.
