It was all about the Fur and Feathers on the cold Miami evening socialites came out to celebrate the re-opening of the iconic Savoy Hotel. Located at 4th and Ocean Drive in the heart of South Beach, the Savoy hotel has been a landmark on Ocean Drive since 1935. The legendary hotel was ready to show its multi-million-dollar refresh with their opening event “Rum N’ Arts.” The boutique property features Miami-meets-Palm Beach décor, designed with banana leaf print wallpaper with “over the top” matching leaf fabrics trimmed in hot pink, rich velvet furnishings, classic deco brass fixtures, and huge tropical planters. Women and men were finally able to put on their best leather and boots as they sipped Mojito cocktails courtesy of Coconut Cartel. Diego Guttierez also displayed his romatic exhibition of art to compliment the South Beach decor. Socialite notables included Morgan Shara, Michael Leibowitz, Adina Gould, Dorris Richards, and Alex Norton.
