On the opening of Youssef Nabil: I Saved My Belly Dancer, join the Perez Art Museum Miami for a conversation between artist and photographer Youssef Nabil and PAMM Assistant Curator Jennifer Inacio. Nabil and Inacio will discuss previous works and his video “I Saved My Belly Dancer (2015).” The conversation will place into context the once proud and meaningful traditions of belly dancing and the changing ideological circumstances of the artist’s native country, Egypt.
