The National Day of Service falls on MLK day so communities across the country can honor and support a living memory of Dr. King through civic engagement. Volunteers will help care for one of the last remaining populations in the world of Crenulate Lead Plant. Volunteers can expect to get their hands dirty by pulling away vines and weeds and removing the litter that accumulates in the preserve.
