3rd Annual Campfires to Cocktails Gala
The event raised $350,000 for the organization and the nearly 3,000 girls it serves throughout Miami-Dade and the Keys.
Girl Scouts of Tropical Florida hosted its third annual Campfires to Cocktails gala at Camp Mahachee. The signature fundraising event featured a unique evening of glamping offering attendees the chance to experience the excitement of outdoor and STEM activities that Girl Scouting offers in the beautiful 11 acres of hardwood hammock in Coral Gables. Attendees tried their hand at archery, fencing, axe throwing, and making their own s’mores with Girl Scout Cookie options around the campfire. The event raised $350,000 for the organization and the nearly 3,000 girls it serves throughout Miami-Dade and the Keys. Host Committee members included: co-chairs Tami Blanco, GSTF board member; and Erica Rule, Troop 305 member; Sheryl Alonso, Emily Arcia, Raphael Bastian, Jana Hertz, Leah Sylvester, and Adriana Verdeja.
